LISTEN

How a film elicits specific reactions from the audience and why this film achieves such effects?   "Listen" Theme: The term "Listen" in the title of the documentary seems to encompass more than just a word; it embodies a theme. By reducing the extent of narration, the documentary chooses to convey information through sound. Viewers are encouraged to listen, paying attention to the sounds of cars, the narratives of the workers, and the ambient sounds of the workplace.   Uniqueness of Car Sounds: Each vehicle possesses its distinct sound, which can correspond to the individuality and uniqueness of the workers. This diversity of sounds may reflect the diversity within the work environment and the differences between individuals.   Workers' Narratives: The documentary doesn't have a fixed narrator; instead, multiple workers' personal narratives form an interesting contrast and connection with the sounds of the cars. Traits like uniqueness, emotion, and histo...

CONCEPTION

conception : My fundamental viewpoint is pragmatism. I greatly appreciate Heidegger's perspective, as he believes that philosophy should return from the heavens to the earthly. I think the practicality of all things themselves is their true value, so I want to create a short film to explore the meaning of pragmatism.   I believe this project is worthwhile because it will use satirical comedy to delve deep into the philosophical concept of pragmatism, conveying it to a broader audience through visual media. Pragmatism emphasizes the ability to apply practical solutions, which holds significant importance in today's society.   I will complete my project through the following steps:   a)   Plot: A hungry, impoverished man stumbles upon a world-exclusive golden ticket.  Filled with dreams, he enters the place, hoping that he'll be able to have a full meal every day in the future. However, when he returns to the real world after claiming the ultimate prize, a child q...

MYSELF

https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/870393769/privacy CONCEPT: The core concept is self. For me, movies are a process of seeking oneself, expressing oneself, and transforming oneself. Before this, I was always looking at others, until I saw myself in the movies, that's when I became me. PROCESS: Self-awareness in humans is complemented by others. At the same time, I hope to see life in my films, which is also a requirement I have for my future filmmaking. So, for the initial material, I chose to film animals, everything with life, objects dancing in nature. However, they are not human, because they do not possess the social attributes of humans, so I cannot complete myself through them. At the end of the film, the person asked me, "What are you looking for?" and then lifted my mask. So I saw her looking into my eyes, and then I saw my own shadow.
